Mechanic Wanted at OKQ8 Car Workshop

We are now looking for a driven and curious mechanic for our workshop. We believe that you, as an applicant, are technically skilled, communicative, and of course proud of your profession. When you work as a car mechanic with us, you should have a good business sense and understand the importance of putting the customer and service first. You will work closely with customers and therefore need the ability to create long-term customer relationships. The position involves service, repairs, and troubleshooting on passenger cars and light trucks of most brands.

Qualifications

• A burning interest in technology and automotive mechanics
• Documented relevant education
• Documented experience as an automotive mechanic
• Good administrative skills and computer proficiency
• Good communication skills
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• A good customer approach

You are flexible and structured in your work while being responsible and see challenges as a natural step in your career. You are socially outgoing, have teamwork skills, and can also work under time pressure. You easily grasp new instructions, and we see it as a given that you have a strong interest in cars and a sense of service. A minimum of a B driver's license is required.

OKQ8 is one of Sweden's largest fuel companies and has over 280 staffed stations across the country, offering a wide range of products and services for both cars and drivers. OKQ8 Car Workshop is located at about 80 of our stations from Kiruna in Norrbotten to Höllviken in Skåne.

Together with our partner MECA, OKQ8 Car Workshop has access to a wide range of spare parts, technical support, equipment, and training in modern vehicle technology.

As an employee at one of our workshops, you work closely with the OKQ8 station and represent OKQ8 in your interactions with OK members and other customers.

Personality Test

Personality is important to us! Therefore, we ask all applicants to complete a short personality test. This allows us to get a more objective picture of you as a person and will be used as part of the selection process. The link to the test will be sent in a separate email the day after you submit your application, and we kindly ask you to respond to the test as soon as you can.
